The company, founded in 1976, specializes in the assembly, finishing and marketing photographic products. In its subsequent growth, the company, which has a factory in the Sunter Industrial Estate, has acted as the sole distributor for Hope Processor products of the United States, Durst photographic enlarging equipment of Italy, Elinchrome flash units of the United States as well as of Carnfeldt products of Denmark. At present the company has full ownership of two subsidiaries, PT Fotomatic Jaya Industries, operating as a chain of retail photography related shops, engaging in photography and micrography developing and printing and PT Ladang Ira Panen, marketing the company products. The company, a member of the Kalbe group, owns distribution network for consumer products. Since March 1992, the company has been a sole distributor of all Noritzu products.
