Brief of Company Background
PT Dharmala Intiland Tbk was established in June 10, 1983 under the name PT Wisma Dharmala Sakti. The achievement history was started with the construction of the tropical designed Wisma Dharmala Sakti building designed by Paul Rudolph and now this building is the center of Dharmala Group activities. This building officially operated in 1987, was exhibited in Museum of Modern Arts, New York. Along with the rapid growth of the company and as an anticipation to the growth of property business itself, PT Wisma Dharmala Sakti successfully offered its shares at Over The Counter (OTC) market in October 1989. Two years later, on June 14, 1991, PT Wisma Dharmala Sakti changed its name into PT Dharmala Intiland, to fulfill the need of business development, where the next year, PT Dharmala Intiland successfully listed its shares at Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) and Surabaya Stock Exchange (SSX). The business grew rapidly ever since. It was started by the acquisition of 98.7% shares of PT Taman Harapan Indah in Jakarta and 96.7% shares of PT Dharmala Land in Surabaya. This acquisition placed PT Dharmala Intiland Tbk as the holding company of property division of Dharmala Group.
