Brief of Company Background

Established in 2008 and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in March 2023, PT Nusantara Sawit Sejahtera Tbk, hereinafter referred to as NSS, is a fast growing producer of palm oil that owns and operates five upstream integrated plantation companies with total planted and nucleus area of 46,000 ha located in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.

In its aim to produce the highest quality palm products, NSS utilizes the highest quality palm oil seeds for its plantation. With the adoption of superior seeds, spot fertilizer application method called pocket placement, coupled with its young plantation profile, NSS is able to achieve highest palm oil products: Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernels (PK). NSS is always responsibly mindful of the wellbeing of the local communities whilst complying with best practice in the cultivation of palm oil.

On the back of strong leadership and solid human resources management, we seek continuous improvement through innovative technologies and utilize the highest standard of operating framework. We are committed to achieving higher yields and extraction rates by investing in continuous research and development on the health condition of our soil and plants as well as the accuracy of applied fertilizers for output yield maximization. As an upstream producer, we sell our products primarily to domestic buyers and benchmark our performance against industry leaders.
