Brief of Company Background
MNC was established to incorporate the media business units under one holding and operating company in order to form a synergistic, integrated, dynamic, and creative media group in a competitive media landscape. MNC listed its shares on 22 June 2007 on the Jakarta Stock Exchange (now Indonesia Stock Exchange/IDX). The Company offered 4,125,000,000 shares, representing 30% (of which 20% was new shares) of total shares outstanding, at a price of Rp900 per share. With operations encompassing from content production, content distribution, nationwide television networks, television program channels, newspaper, tabloid, and radio networks, MNC is currently the largest and only integrated media company in Indonesia.
