Brief of Company Background
The company is a subsidiary of PT Tigaraksa, Jakarta, and also holds equity participation in two companies: PT Alpha Austenite and PT Indoval. PT Alpha Austenite, a wholly owned subsidiary, produces a range of engineering products which consists of LG2, R67 and RG10 non-ferrous coating bronze, moulds and die castings, and spare parts and components for industrial use. PT Indoval, a joint venture with Tetra Laval of Sweden (formerly Alva Laval) and 48% owned by the company, produces local components for Alva Laval projects in Indonesia. On April 1996, the company acquired 20% shares of PT Aneka Gas Industri owned by the Department of Industry and Trade worth Rp 12.04 billion. The shares were acquired through a direct placement.
