Brief of Company Background
The Company was founded in 1993 under the name of PT Golden Phoenix and commenced operations in the trading of agricultural and fisheries products. In 1996, PT Golden Phonix changed name again, this PT Wahana Yuda Mandiri. In the year 2000, it changed name again, this time to PT Wahana Phonix Mandiri. The company has 1 99.33% stake in PT Phonix Mas Persada (PMP), a subsidiary established to handle inter-island trading in agricultural and fisheries products and wich commenced operations in cashew nut processing in 1989 and seawead processing in 1993. The company markets its products to various overseas destinations, including China, Hongkong, Taiwan, India and Denmark
