Brief of Company Background

PT . SidoMuncul stems from a domestic industry in 1940 , is managed by Mrs. Rahkmat Sulistio in Yogyakarta , and assisted by three employees . A large demand for herbal medicine is more practical packaging , encouraging him to produce herbal medicine in a practical form ( powder ) , along with his move to Semarang , the company was founded in 1951 with a simple SidoMuncul name meaning "" dream come true "" to the location on Jl . Mlaten Trenggulun . With the first and flagship product , Herbal Reject Wind , herbal products made in Mrs. Mercy began to get a place in the hearts of people around and permintaannyapun always increasing .During its development , the factory located in Jl . Mlaten Trenggulun was not longer able to meet the huge production capacity due to the increasing market demand , and in 1984 the factory was moved to the Small Industrial Environment Jl . Kaligawe , Semarang .In order to accommodate the growing market demand , the plant began to be equipped with modern machinery , as well as the number of employees increased in accordance with the required capacity ( now amounts to more than 2000 people ) .In anticipation of future progress , it is necessary to build a larger factory units and modern , then in 1997 held a groundbreaking new plant in Klepu , Unggaran by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono 10th and witnessed by Director General of Drug and Food when it , Drs . Vishnu Kaltim .The new plant is located in Klepu , district. Gaseous , Unggaran , with an area of 29 ha was inaugurated by the Minister of Health and Social Welfare of the Republic of Indonesia , dr . Achmad Sujudi on November 11 , 2000. During the inauguration of the plant , as well SidoMuncul receive two certificates , namely Traditional Manufacturing Practice (CPOTB ) and Good Manufacturing Practice ( GMP ) pharmaceutical equivalent , and the certificate is what makes the PT . SidoMuncul as the only standardized herbal pharmaceutical factory . Location mill itself consists of a factory building covering an area of 7 hectares , Agro land , 1.5 acres , and the rest into factory environments support area .Certainty PT. SidoMuncul determined to develop the business in the field of herbal medicine is right and good. This determination makes the company become more concentrated and innovative. Besides, followed by the selection and proper use of raw materials, both regarding the type, quantity and quality will produce good herbal medicine.To realize such determination, all expenditures for new products are always preceded by a literature study and intensive research, concerning the safety, efficacy and market sampling. To provide quality assurance, every step of the production of goods coming from, until the products get to the market, carried out under strict quality control.All employees are also determined to make amends at any time, so hopefully all that can be done better than ever.
