Brief of Company Background
PT Ekadharma International Tbk (EKAD) is a manufacturer and retailer of adhesive tapes, aluminum foil, cling wrap and related materials. It was initially established as a paper industry under the name PT Ekadharma Widya Grafika. Then in 1983, the company started producing adhesive tapes to meet the demand of the Indonesian market. Since 1986, it reached markets in the Asian region. The company conducted an IPO in 1990 after changing its name to PT Ekadharma Tape Industries. Since then, the company continued to expand its business to other cities, year after year, by opening sales branches and stock points. In 2006, the company changed its name to PT Ekadharma International Tbk. It currently has 45 branches and stock points throughout Indonesia.
