Brief of Company Background

PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk is a group engages in integrated health service that has hospitals. Our future is to develop technology-based health service and training centers which produce professionals in the health service industry.

PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk manages hospitals listed under the Metro Hospital Group. At present, Metro Hospital owns and operates 7 hospitals spread across several potential areas.

In 2015, PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk began its steps by acquiring RSIA Bunda Sejahtera, located in Kotabumi, Tangerang. After the acquisition, the hospital’s operational capabilities have been improved. The initially 30 beds were added into 39 beds. We plan to build a new building for the hospital development into a public hospital which will be renamed into Metro Hospitals Kuta Baru soon.

Still, in 2015, RSIA Bina Sehat Mandiri is the second acquired hospital located in Duri Raya, Kedoya, West Java. At present, it has become a General Hospital with a capacity of 25 beds. Due to limited land related to licensing, the hospital was renovated using the available area. In the future, we plan to change its name to Metro Hospitals Duri Kepa.

In 2016, Hosana Cikarang Baru Hospital, Jababeka, is acquired. This hospital has been renamed as Metro Hospitals Cikarang Hospital in September 2017. This hospital has a capacity of 70 beds and will be developed by adding other more complete facilities as well.

The fourth hospital-acquired is a Mulia Insani Hospital located on Raya Serang Km 16.8 Cikupa. Its strategic location and occupying an area of 9,409 m2 makes this hospital has good potential to be developed. 110 beds capacity can be developed into around 200 beds. The hospital has changed its name to Metro Hospitals Cikupa now.

In 2019, PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk acquired its fifth hospital, Kartini Hospital. Kartini Mojosari Hospital is one of the first General Hospitals in the Mojosari area. Initially, this hospital was a Kartini Child and Maternity Hospital. Along with the needs of its surrounding citizens, it was changed to Kartini Mojosari Hospital in 1999. PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk acquired this hospital and plans to change its name to Metro Hospital Mijosari Hospital.

At the same time, PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk also acquired Mitra Husada Hospital, which is in Sidoarjo. Mitra Husada Hospital is a mother and child hospital that serves the citizens around Sidoarjo and Surabaya areas. The hospital is equipped with maternity room facilities, operating rooms, laboratories, neonatal rooms, obstetrics, and gynecology specialists and some experts in their fields. It is planned to be renamed Metro Hospital Sidoarjo.

Santo Yusuf Hospital is the seventh hospital acquired by PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk in 2019. Santo Yusuf Hospital has various facilities such as laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, emergency unit and intensive care unit. This hospital is planned to change its name to Metro Hospital Tanjung Priok.

In addition to having a hospital, PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk also has a business development plan in the field of health service technology. An application that aims to facilitate the public in obtaining health services either digitally or conventionally in the Metro Hospital Network is planned to be developed.

PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk has plans to build a training center to produce and train health service personnel. This training center will channel the human resources needed by the hospital network and at the same time be able to maintain the quality of services provided by professionals at the Metro Hospital group as part of PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk.
