Brief of Company Background

PT Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk. (the “Company”) was established in 1988 under the name PT Bintang Kharisma, with the status of Domestic Investment (PMDN). In 1994, the Company listed and sold its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange, and became PT Bintang Kharisma Tbk. In 1997, the Company changed its name from PT Bintang Kharisma Tbk to PT Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk.   

The Company is engaged in the footwear industry, including the production and marketing of sports/casual shoes to local and international markets.   

At the beginning of its establishment, the Company produced sports shoes entirely for export.  However, in 2002, Reebok, the Company's main buyer, relocated its business which resulted in the cessation of orders.  Along with the cessation of export orders, the Company began to pioneer the sale of shoes in the domestic market under its own brand, namely “Tomkins”.  To date, sales of Tomkins shoes have spread throughout Indonesia.   

In addition to producing and marketing TOMKINS shoes, the Company also receives orders for the production of other brands of shoes for export purposes, such as Lonsdale, Dunlop, Firetrap, and others.
