Brief of Company Background

Known by the name of PT Internas Arta Leasing Company, PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk was established on 21 October 1982. At the beginning of its establishment, the Company was engaged in financing then in 1989 changed its name to PT Internas Arta Finance Company, until its Shareholders agreed to change its name back to PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk effective 25 February 1995.

In the same year, the Company conducted shares public offering and listing its shares in Indonesia Stock Exchange. One year afterwards, the Company decided to changes its line of business to trading, industry, transportation, real estate, and services that is carried out by its Subsidiaries.

Through its Subsidiaries, the Company provide integrated product and services to individual or corporate customer. Individual customer segment enables the Company to support individuals meet the needs and to support small and medium enterprises. While corporate segment provides financial services, financial solution, and offers access to domestic and global investment opportunities.
