Brief of Company Background
Founded on the commitment to become the leading insurance partner for its customers, since the establishment of PT Asuransi Maximus Graha Persada Tbk (Maximus Insurance) has consistently developed insurance in accordance with the growing needs of its customers.
The Company’s journey began on April 24, 1956 with its establishment under the name PT Maskapai Insurance Patriot (Patriot Insurance Society Ltd). In 1991, the Company was acquired by Kalbe Group and changed its name to PT Asuransi Mitra Maparya.
In 2014, Kresna Insurance officially listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the issuer code "ASMI" with the issuance of 402,871,000 shares. Following the share listing, the Company's name was changed to PT Asuransi Mitra Maparya Tbk.In 2016, Maximus Insurance was known as PT Asuransi Kresna Mitra Tbk, on a consolidated basis after the Company merged with the Kresna Group in 2014. The transformation was carried out based on the resolution of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on June 15, 2016. As a form of compliance The Company, in accordance with the laws and regulations, the Company has also made amendments to the articles of association with Deed No. 94 of 2016, which was approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights No. AHU-0011541. AH.01.02. YEAR 2016 dated 17 June 2016.
In 2020, PT Asuransi Kresna Mitra Tbk transformed to become PT Asuransi Maximus Graha Persada Tbk (Maximus Insurance) based on the decision of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on August 28, 2020 that has been approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights No. AHU-00062679.AH.01.02 dated September 11, 2020, and by Financial Services Authority Board of Commissioners No. KEP-68/NB.11/2021 dated February 15, 2021.
With this change, Maximus Insurance opened a new chapter in its journey as a trusted business protection partner across Indonesia.
