Jakarta - PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) recorded an increase in sales of around 6.37% to Rp21.463 trillion in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year, Rp20.176 trillion.

The company's financial report released on Wednesday (7/27) showed increased sales supported the high profit of around 18.72% to Rp3,429 trillion from Rp2.045 trillion.

In addition, operating profit also grew by 11.02% to Rp4.482 trillion from Rp4.037 trillion.

Unilever was also able to reduce the pace of financial costs by around 52.15%, bringing Rp44.550 billion down from Rp93.118 billion.

Unfortunately, the cost of goods sold swelled by around 11.97% to Rp11.118 trillion from Rp9.929 trillion.

Until the first semester of 2022, UNVR's total assets were at Rp22.144 trillion, with liabilities of Rp17.578 trillion and equity of Rp4.565 trillion.
