PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) obtained a credit facility worth Rp2.26 trillion from three banks.

The company will use the loan facility to finance its and subsidiaries' business activities this year.

Based on the financial statements published by the company, the company obtained the first loan facility on May 21, 2021, and will be valid until May 31, 2022.

During that period, the company received additional Wakalah Bil Ujrah and Qardh facilities from PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS) with a total of US$100 million or around Rp1.44 trillion.

"The loan facility can be used jointly by PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP), PT Oki Pulp & Paper Mills, and PT Pindo Deli Pulp and Paper Mills," said management.
