The Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI) recorded a decrease in net profit throughout 2020 of around 15.95% to Rp227.721 billion from the previous year, amounting to Rp271,093 billion.

The KSEI financial report published on Tuesday (16/3) showed a decrease in operating income of around 11.58% to Rp653.444 billion from Rp739.103 billion putting its profit under pressure.

Nevertheless, KSEI managed to reduce the operating expense rate by around 6.69% to Rp364.209 billion from Rp390.348 billion.

Meanwhile, KSEI recorded total assets ending 2020 at Rp2.581 trillion, an increase of 12.90% from the previous year, Rp2.286 trillion. These assets consist of equity and liabilities of Rp2,389 trillion and Rp192,274 billion, respectively.

At the end of 2020, cash and cash equivalents were at Rp1.222 trillion or 20.99% higher than Rp1.010 trillion.
