First Session, JCI Falls 0.10% to 7,069.87


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in Thursday's first trading session (9/29) weakened 7.161 points, or 0.10%, to 7,069.87.

At the midday break, 177 stocks rose, 340 were lower, and 155 were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 15.90 billion shares with a turnover of Rp7.42 trillion.

Meanwhile, the top gainers for LQ45 were PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), up 4.02%. PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), rose 2.58%, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) gained 1.82%.

Meanwhile, among the LQ45 top losers were PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO), down 1.79%. PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) fell 1.63%, while PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk (BFIN) slid 1.33%.
