Jakarta - PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) recorded a decrease in profit attributable to owners for the January-September 2022 period by 3.44% to Rp981 billion from Rp1.016 trillion.

In the financial report released Tuesday (11/8), the low-profit achievement was triggered by high expenses of around 10.31% to Rp18.577 trillion from Rp16.840 trillion.

However, the high expenses were offset by an increase in revenue of around 9.06% to Rp21.595 trillion from Rp19.8 trillion.

XL's total assets reached Rp81.675 trillion as of September this year, with liabilities of Rp60 trillion and equity of Rp20.711 trillion. Meanwhile, the position of cash and cash equivalents was Rp5.764 trillion.
