Jakarta - PT PLN recorded a surge in profit for the current period attributable to owners for the January-September 2022 period of around 28.62% to Rp15.935 trillion from the same period last year of Rp12.389 trillion.

The company's financial report released on Monday (10/31) showed the high operating income of around 20.47% to Rp325.122 trillion from Rp269.870 trillion, encouraging the strengthening.

The strengthening of income was followed by an increase in operating expenses which swelled by around 16.68% to Rp276.957 trillion from Rp. 237.364 trillion.

However, PLN managed to increase operating profit by around 48.16% to Rp48.164 trillion to Rp32.506 trillion.

PLN accepts other expenses of around Rp2.746 trillion from the previous success of earning around Rp1.363 trillion. In addition, there was a foreign exchange loss of Rp9.159 trillion from a profit of Rp308.356 billion.
