Jakarta - PT Timah Tbk (TINS) recorded a net profit growth of 87% for the January-September 2022 period, to Rp1.146 trillion, from the same period last year of Rp612 billion.

"Tin's performance increases due to the increase in the selling price of tin metal, efficiency throughout the business chain, a decrease in interest-bearing debt, and the consistent improvement in the performance of the non-tin segment subsidiary," said the Director of Finance and Risk Management, Fina Eliani, in a press release on Wednesday (11/9).

She added that Timah was able to realize an increase in revenue of around 5% to Rp10.2 trillion from Rp9.7 trillion.

Tin ore production was recorded at 14,502 tons, down 19% from 17,929 tons. Of this amount, 35%, or 5,004 tons, came from onshore mining, while 65%, or 9,498 tons, came from marine mining.
