Intraco Penta Targets Sales Growth of 10% in 2021

PT Intraco Penta Tbk (INTA) has set a conservative sales growth target of around 10% this year.

According to the Director of Intraco Penta, Eddy Rodianto, the company is optimistic that the company can achieve the conservative sales target amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"One of the sectors that we predict will become a support, namely nickel ore because the demand continues to increase. The pace of the industry is currently quite good, indicated by a large amount of investment in the downstream sector," said Eddy in the company's written statement on Thursday (18/3).

He added that the downstream sector's investment will keep the demand for nickel ore or nickel ore higher. In the upstream sector, nickel mining will use the company's heavy equipment.

"Thus, we are quite optimistic that the nickel sector will be able to sustain sales of Intraco Penta heavy equipment. However, it must be remembered that the use of heavy equipment in this sector is not as intensive as coal mining, "he added.

Another effort made by the company to get around the weakening of other coal sales is by cooperating with LiuGong Machinery Indonesia as the newest principal with a large market share.

The company plans to market, sell, and distribute heavy equipment and spare parts under the LiuGong and Dressta brands.
