Jakarta - The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has suspended trading shares of PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP).

The Head of the Transaction Supervision Division, Lidia M. Panjaitan, said that the IDX made the suspension due to the significant cumulative price increase in CMPP's shares.

In information disclosed in Jakarta, she was quoted as saying, "In the context of cooling down, IDX considers it necessary to temporarily suspend trading of CMPP shares on trading on January 12, 2022."

She explained that the suspension of trading in CMPP shares was carried out in the regular and cash markets to provide sufficient time for market participants to consider carefully based on the information available in every investment decision made in CMPP shares.

In addition, she expects interested parties to always pay attention to the disclosure of information submitted by the company.
