PT Humpuss Intermoda Transport Tbk (HITS) plans to invest four units of chemical, oil, offshore support, LNG, and FSRU vessels for the Amurang project in two years, starting in 2021.

"The company estimates total investment at US$88 million," said Humpuss' 2020 annual report released Thursday (17/6).

To finance the investment, the company's sources of funds come from loans from domestic and foreign banking and non-banking financial institutions, equity partnerships, and internal cash.

Last year, Humpuss did not carry out any expansion, investment, acquisition, or divestment activities.

Currently, the company has prepared strategic steps to obtain some business opportunities and develop businesses in every oil and gas business chain in Indonesia.

The utilization of the LNGG Ekaputra I vessel and the LNGC Triputra vessel in the long term is the backbone for the company in the LNG transportation business.
