Global Factors Seen to Pressure Rupiah


On Tuesday (11/5), the rupiah exchange rate has the potential to weaken following the concerns of global market players over the decline in the US Nasdaq stock index and Asian stocks, which also moved lower this morning.

Money Market Observer Ariston Tjendra said market players are worried about rising US inflation that could change the Central Bank's stance on monetary policy, and US inflation data will be released late Wednesday.
