PT Aneka Tambang (Persero) Tbk, in its unaudited fourth quarter 2020 operational report, recorded solid production and sales growth of its key commodities.

Antam’s main commodity production output, namely ferronickel, increased 7% to 6,837 tons compared to the third quarter of 2020 of 6,371 tons. Ferronickel sales reached 6,639 tons or grew by 2% compared to the third quarter of 2020.

Antam recorded accumulated ferronickel production and sales throughout 2020 at 25,970 tons YoY and 26,163 tons YoY, respectively.

During the fourth quarter of 2020, Antam recorded gold sales of 6,921 kg (222,515 t oz), while gold production from the Pongkor and Cibaliung mines was 388 kg (12,474 t oz).

Cumulatively, Antam's gold production and sales in the period were at 1,672 kg (53,756 t oz) and 21,797 kg (700,789 t oz), respectively.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, nickel ore production used as raw material for Antam's ferronickel factory, and sales to domestic customers reached 1.90 million tons, a 28% growth compared to 1. 49 million tons in the third quarter of 2020.

Antam recorded nickel ore sales in the last three months of 2020 at 2.09 million tons, a significant growth compared to the third quarter of 2020 at 1.04 million tons. Throughout the 2020 period, nickel ore production reached 4.76 million tons, with sales reaching 3.30 million tons.

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Antam recorded a production volume of 255 thousand tons bauxite used in alumina production and sales to customers of 255 thousand tons bauxite. Throughout the 2020 period, bauxite sales reached 1.23 million tons, and bauxite production reached 1.55 million tons.
