First Session, JCI Rises to 6,060


The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session on Friday (16/7) rose 13.46 points (0.22%) to a level of 6,060.

Two hundred forty-seven stocks were rising, 221 stocks weakening, and 150 stocks unchanged. Trading volume reached 11 billion shares with a turnover of Rp5.94 trillion.

The Energy sector IDX contributed the most to the 0.90% increase in the JCI, followed by the Raw Goods IDX 0.88% and the Industrial sector IDX 0.87%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the  LQ45 were PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) up 4.44% to Rp940, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) up 3.95% to Rp3,160, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) up 3.83% to Rp5,425.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA), down 4.13% to Rp580, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) down 3.75% to Rp1,410, PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk (UNVR) fell 1.94% to Rp 5,050.
