Bank Negara Indonesia to Sell Rp5 Trillion Green Bond


Jakarta - PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk issued a green bond I 2022 worth Rp5 trillion.

Based on the prospectus released on Wednesday (5/11), this green bond is offered in three series: Series A with a tenor of 3 years; Series B with a tenor of 5 years; and Series C with a tenor of 7 years.

The company plans to use the proceeds from the green bond issuance for financing and refinancing projects in environmentally sound business activities, projects related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, waste processing into energy and waste management, and others.

To issue this green bond, BNI has obtained a rating from Pefindo, namely AAA.

The underwriters were entrusted to PT BNI Sekuritas, PT BCA Sekuritas, PT BRI Danareksa Sekuitas, PT CIMB Niaga Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, and Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia. The trustee is PT Bank Mandiri Tbk.

The indication of the implementation schedule, the initial offering period is May 11-25, 2022
