Jakarta - PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of around Rp1.930 trillion, a decrease of about 40% at the end of June this year from the same period last year, which reached Rp3.221 trillion.

The swelling of the financial burden of around 80.52% to Rp2.679 trillion from Rp 1.484 trillion dragged the profits down.

The cost of goods sold also increased by around 24.90% to Rp22.191 trillion from Rp17.766 trillion.

Operating profit was also depressed by around 8%, to Rp5.88 trillion from Rp6.36 trillion.

Nevertheless, ICBP could still increase net sales by 16% to Rp32.593 trillion from Rp28.199 trillion.
