Jakarta - PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) projects that the Java Integrated and Port Estate (JIIPE) industrial estate business line in Gresik, East Java, can contribute around 30% to profits in the next 3-5 years.

"Last year, JIIPE's contribution was still small or around 9% of our sales. We believe in the future, 30% of AKR's profit in the next 3-5 years will be contributed by JIIPE," said AKR President Director Haryanto Adikoesomo in an online public expose on Wednesday (8/9).

He added that currently, around ten companies are planning to invest in JIIPE.

"We believe in the next 3-6 months, there will be some that can be finalized. Thus, the more tenants who start production or carry out construction at JIIPE, the utilization will increase," he added.
