Widodo Makmur Allocates Rp1.2 Trillion for 2021 Capex


Poultry farm company PT Widodo Makmur Unggas Tbk (WMUU) this year has prepared capital expenditure (capex) funds of up to Rp1.2 trillion to increase production capacity.

Chief Executive Officer Widodo Makmur Unggas Ali Mas'adi said the company was quite satisfied with the company's performance, which until the first quarter of 2021 had recorded sales of Rp597 billion.

"We will continue to expand this year, such as adding production capacity and strengthening distribution networks," he said at a press conference, Wednesday (16/6).

According to Ali, the company has prepared a capital expenditure fund of Rp1.2 trillion to support these efforts. One of the allocations of funds is for the construction of parent stock in Wonosari, DI Yogyakarta.

"In addition, the company will also increase the parent stock capacity in Semin, DI Yogyakarta. Overall, Widodo Makmur will have a parent stock of 440 thousand chicken," he explai
