Jakarta - PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) has increased its issued and paid-up capital by Rp84,353 billion, or a total of 168,706 shares in PT Trans Jalan Tol (TJT).

Based on the company's information disclosure on Wednesday (16/3), this additional capital is to meet the funding needs of TJT.

With the capital increase, the company expects to maximize its business performance to provide added value for PT Waskita Karya Tbk as a shareholder of WTR.

With the addition of capital, the ownership structure has not changed. The majority shareholder of TJT remains WTR with a percentage of 99.99% and 0.01% by the Waskita Cooperative.

The transaction value is 0.54% of Waskita Karya's equity recorded at Rp15.624 trillion as of September 2021, and 0.36% of WTR's equity which was recorded at Rp23.503 trillion.

TJT is a company engaged in the construction and management of toll roads.
