PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) plans to sell all of its shares in PT Cibitung Tanjung Priok Port Tollways (CTP) of 1.38 million shares representing 55% to PT Access Pelabuhan Indonesia (API).

"WTR, which is a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk with an ownership of 87.59% shares, has signed a conditional sale and purchase agreement with API on July 21, 2021," said SVP Corporate Secretary Ratna Ningrum in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday (22/7).

According to Ratna, the sale of CTP's shares is in the process. The value of the sale of shares is estimated at around Rp2.44 trillion.

In addition, WTR also plans to transfer interest receivables worth Rp40.48 billion to PT API.

The Cibitung-Tanjung Priok toll road has 34 km in length. The toll gate is located in Cibitung and has four exits and has access to other toll roads,  the Cimanggis-Cibitung toll road section and the overseas toll road section, Tanjung Priok Baru Port,
