Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya Tbk business entity, PT Waskita Sriwijaya Tol (WST) won an investment financing facility from PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) worth Rp2.9 trillion.

"The purpose of this funding is to support the Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung toll road project," said Waskita President Director Destiawan Sorwardjono in information disclosure in Jakarta on Thursday (6/30).

He explained this investment financing facility has a maturity of 15 years from the date of signing the facility on 27 June 2022 with an interest coupon of 9.25%.

"The availability period is 60 months after signing the agreement, and the grace period is 60 months after signing the agreement," he explained.

With the signing of this investment financing facility, the company expects to accelerate the construction process of the section II and III Kayu Agung-Palembang-Betung toll road sections.
