Waskita Karya Obtains Rp225 Billion New Contracts


PT Waskita Karya Tbk (WSKT) received a new contract worth Rp225 billion from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) to work on a national strategic project (PSN).

The new project obtained by WSKT is the construction of the Long Semamu–Long Bawan 2 Road, which is located in the North Kalimantan Region, the border between Indonesia and Malaysia.

Senior Vice President Infrastructure II Division WSKT Sugiharto said that his party will conduct a joint operation with PT Duta Mega Perkasa in working on this project.

Of the total contract value of Rp. 225 billion, Waskita will be the leader and receive a share of 70% of the total contract value.

"The work itself will be carried out for 892 calendar days, namely July 13, 2021–December 15, 2023. God willing, everything can run smoothly," he said in his statement in Jakarta on Thursday (15/7).
