Jakarta - PT Waskita Karya  Tbk managed to raise funds amounting to Rp9.44 trillion thru additional capital with preemptive rights or rights issues that it held at the end of 2021.

"We appreciate the trust and support from shareholders in the company, especially in the process of financial recovery,y to continue to build a better Indonesia," Waskita President Director Destiawan Soewardjono said in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (18/1).

According to Destiawan, in the future, the company will focus on running its operational business armed with much better liquidity capabilities to improve sustainable financial performance.

Meanwhile, WSKT's Director of Finance and Risk Management, Taufik Hendra Kusuma, said that the company would continue implementing the eight Waskita Financial Restructuring Streams, especially through the corporate action of issuing bonds and sukuk with government guarantees in the first quarter of this year.
