Victoria Care Sales Soars 99.87% to 1.04 Trillion in 2020


PT Victoria Care Indonesia Tbk (VICI) throughout 2020 achieved positive performance by recording sales of Rp1.04 trillion, up 99.87% from the same period in the previous year, Rp797.79 billion.

President Director of Victoria Care Indonesia Billy Hartono Salim said the growth achieved was in line with the company's ability to continue to innovate so that it was able to survive and experience growth.

"This growth is largely supported by the category of antiseptic and body care products such as the Miranda and Herborist brands with a contribution of up to 51 percent of revenue in 2020, followed by hair care products by 49 percent and others 0.08%," he said in Jakarta, on Wednesday(31/3).

According to Billy, the increase in sales increased the cost of goods sold by 43.03% to Rp526.76 billion. The gross profit obtained by the company in 2020 is Rp519.42 billion, an increase of 20.93%. With this gross profit, its Gross Profit Margin (GPM) for 2020 is 49.65%.

"This achievement proves that we have succeeded in maintaining the GPM, which in the last five years has been on average in the range of 50%," he explained.

Along with sales, the company pocketed a profit for the year, reaching Rp148.36 billion, an increase of 32.75% from the same period in 2019, amounting to Rp111.76 billion.
