Jakarta - UOB Asset Management Indonesia (UOBAM Indonesia) launched UOBAM Innovation Bond Nasional (UNION), a fixed income mutual fund that focuses on Indonesian government bonds.

The mutual fund will be offered for the first time to retail investors through the Ajaib application as part of UOBAM Indonesia's collaboration with PT Takjub Teknologi Indonesia (Ajaib Group), a leading and innovative investment platform.

Director and Chief Marketing Officer of UOBAM Indonesia Alvin Jufitrick said UNION provides access for investors to have exposure to various series of Indonesian government bonds.

"UNION is an innovative mutual fund with flexibility in asset allocation, including USD-denominated Indonesian government bonds (INDON). By investing in UNION, investors can easily diversify into INDON without having to open their own USD account," he said at a press conference launching the online UOB AM and Ajaib collaboration, Friday (13/8).
