PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) recorded sales performance of Komatsu heavy equipment in the first five months of 2021 as many as 1,076 units, an increase of 38.48% compared to the same period the previous year of 777 units.

United Tractors Investor Relations Ari Setiyawan said the largest sales contribution came from the mining sector with 45 percent, followed by construction with 29 percent, forestry with 16 percent, and plantations with 10 percent.

"Komatsu's monthly sales volume in May 2021 was 167 units with a market share for the year to date of May 2021 of 22%," in a statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (29/6).

On the other hand, coal production from Pamapersada Nusantara rose slightly to 46.6 million tons compared to the first five months of 2020 of 46.2 million tons.

Coal sales also increased to 5.48 million tons in the first five months of 2021 compared to 5.05 million tons in the same period the previous year.
