PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) posted a profit for the year attributable to the parent entity owners, increased by 32% YoY to Rp6.46 trillion in 2020 from Rp4.91 trillion in the previous year.

Net profit margin increased to 7.9% from 6.4%, and core profit increased by 22% to Rp5.96 trillion from Rp4.90 trillion.

Consolidated net sales supported this profit growth throughout 2020. The company consolidated sales increased by around 7% to Rp81.73 trillion compared to the previous year Rp76.59 trillion.

"In dynamic operating conditions during 2020, Indofood can still record consistent performance through the resilience and resilience of its vertically integrated business model and brands that are well-known to consumers," said Indofood President Director Anthoni Salim in a press release, Tuesday ( 23/3).

In the future stages of development, Anthoni said, Indofood will remain vigilant in maintaining employee health, strengthening the business model's vertical integration, improving the performance, and developing our capabilities in facing new opportunities and challenges.
