Jakarta - PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk increased its net profit attributable to owners by 84.05% in the first quarter of 2022 to Rp4.305 trillion from Rp2.339 trillion in the same period last year.

In the financial report released Wednesday (4/27), this achievement was supported by BNI's success in reducing operating expenses other than net interest by around 32.41%, to Rp4.332 trillion from Rp6.410 trillion.

Thus, BNI achieved a twofold increase in operating profit, taking it to Rp5,249 trillion from Rp2,950 trillion.
