Trisula International Net Sales Falls 25% YoY to Rp256 Billion in First Quarter


PT Trisula International Tbk (TRIS) posted a decrease in net sales of around 25.45% to Rp256.46 billion in the first quarter of 2021 compared to last year, Rp344.04 billion.

Quoting Trisula's financial report, on Monday (17/5), although sales declined, the company reduced the cost of goods sold by around 22.86% from Rp269.19 billion to Rp207.63 billion.

Operating expenses also decreased by around 20.87% to Rp41.79 billion from Rp52.81 billion.

The company also received income from the sale of the remaining production of around Rp. 406.29 million. In addition, the financial burden also decreased by around 28.24% to Rp5.48 billion.

Trisula also pocketed a foreign exchange gain of Rp60.60 million in the first three months of this year from a loss of Rp6.35 billion in the same period last year.
