JCI Opens 0.51 Percent Higher at 6,108


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading today, Thursday (4/2), strengthened 30.83 points or 0.51 percent to 6,108.

Some 161 stocks rose, 132 stocks fell, and 151 shares were stagnant. Trading transactions reached Rp1.09 trillion from 940.8 million shares traded.

While stocks in the LQ45 top index were gainers, among others, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) rose 5.15 percent, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) gained 3.91 percent, PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP) up 3.25 percent.

Meanwhile, stocks that the LQ45 top losers, were, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS), fell 1.40 percent, PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) fell 0.53 percent, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) down 0.39 percent.
