The business unit of PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero), PT Telkomsel, has re-invested in Gojek with a value of US$300 million or the equivalent of Rp4.28 trillion (exchange rate of Rp14,289 per US dollar).

President Director of Telkomsel, Setyanto Hantoro, said that Telkomsel's continued investment reinforces the common vision of Telkomsel and Gojek which was born and developed to answer society's problems through digital and technological innovation.

"Telkomsel is optimistic that this latest investment effort will open more opportunities for the public to see and enjoy more advanced technology-based innovations created by the nation's children," he said in a press release on Monday (10/5).

He added that this funding facility is part of Telkomsel's strategy to strengthen the company's digital business trifecta, namely Digital Connectivity, Digital Platform, and Digital Services.
