PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in the first quarter of 2021 posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp6.01 trillion or grew 2.59% compared to the previous period year of Rp5.86 trillion.

Based on the financial report published Tuesday (29/6), this profit growth was supported by Telkom's ability to collect other income of Rp98 billion from previously recorded as an expense of Rp186 billion.

Telkom also reduced funding costs by around 19.17% to Rp982 billion from Rp1.21 trillion.

However, the company's operating income decreased by 0.72% to Rp33.94 trillion from Rp34.19 trillion.

Meanwhile, until the end of March 2021, the company's total assets were recorded at Rp. 257.84 trillion with liabilities of Rp. 129.95 trillion and equity of Rp. 127.89 trillion.
