Jakarta - PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA), through its subsidiary, PT Minahasa Cahaya Lestari (MCL), received a COD (Commercial Operation Date) statement or commercial operation date on August 18, 2021, for the North Sulawesi 3 Steam Power Plant project.

The project has a capacity of 2x50MW located in Kema I Village, Kema District, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province. The PLTU Sulut 3 project reached its Commercial Operation Date (COD) on July 1, 2021, as stated in the COD statement issued by PT PLN on August 18, 2021.

"The COD was achieved in approximately 36 months from July 2018. The COD on July 1, 2021 is determined based on the date on which the two generating units can be operated, with the previous achievement of Unit #1 Commissioning Date in February 2021," said President Director Minahasa Cahaya Lestari, Dimas Wibowo, in his statement on Monday (23/8).

MCL is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) company for the Sulut-3 PLTU
