Jakarta - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises has prepared six state-owned companies to issue new shares through the pre-emptive rights or rights issue scheme in the second half of this year.

"The six SOEs are the State Savings Bank Tbk, Semen Indonesia Tbk, Waskita Karya Tbk, Adhi Karya Tbk, Garuda Indonesia Tbk, and Krakatau Steel Tbk," said Deputy Minister II of SOE Kartika Wirjoatmodjo in a working meeting with Commission VI of the DPR RI on Tuesday night (6/7).

He explained that the government would inject state equity participation of Rp2.98 trillion into BTN. This capital injection will be combined with a rights issue so that the government's share of ownership remains at 60% and the public at 40%.

Then, Semen Indonesia's rights issue process will be carried out by injecting funds into the company as a step for the government to delegate its share of shares in PT Semen Baturaja (Persero) Tbk to the company.
