Sentiment from Companies' Earnings Support Stronger JCI


Positive sentiment from the release of the financial statements of listed companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange supported the strengthening of the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading Friday (30/7) by 15.64 points.

"Supported by positive sentiment from the financial statements of a number of companies in the first semester of 2021 released today and positive movements in global markets, we estimate the JCI will rise today," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading this Friday, the JCI rose 15.64 points (0.26%) to 6,136.37.

Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 rose 4.2 points (0.5%) to 836.95.
