PT Eagle High Plantations Tbk (BWPT) in the first semester of 2021 posted a net loss attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp1.65 trillion or an increase of 298.07% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp416.82 billion.

Based on the financial report published on Tuesday (10/8),  a loss on the sale of a subsidiary that reached Rp1.39 trillion triggered the increase in losses.

In addition, the cost of goods sold also increased by around 2.56%, or from Rp1.0 trillion to Rp1.12 trillion.

However, the company increased its operating income by 11.33% to Rp1.35 trillion from the same period the previous year of Rp1.21 trillion.

Until the end of June 2021, BWPT's total assets were at Rp12.26 trillion, with total liabilities of Rp10.44 trillion and equity of Rp1.81 trillion.
