PT Permodalan Nasional Madani, in semester I-2021, posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp315.64 billion, an increase of 159.48% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp121.54 billion.

The company's financial report released on Friday (6/8) showed that profit growth was supported by an increase in net interest and sharia income by around 53.62% from Rp1.64 trillion to Rp2.52 trillion.

Operating profit also more than tripled or became Rp427.33 billion from the previous only Rp153.12 billion.

This significant growth was supported by an increase in income from investment manager activities by 13.75% to Rp32.44 billion in the first semester of 2021 and income from consulting services by around 946.21% Rp900.33 million.

However, interest and sharia expenses increased by around 23.30% or from Rp.884.87 billion to Rp1.090 trillion in the first semester of 2021.
