PT Pegadaian, in the first semester of 2021, posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp1.30 trillion, a decrease of around 14.70% compared to the same period the previous year, Rp1.53 trillion.

The financial report published on Tuesday (10/8) showed that the decline in profit achievement was triggered by an increase in operating expenses of around 6.95% to Rp. 8.72 trillion from the same period in 2020 of Rp. 8.15 trillion.

However, Pegadaian increased its business income by around 2.94%, from Rp10.13 trillion to Rp10.43 trillion.

As for the first semester of 2021, the company's total assets reached Rp67.80 trillion, with liabilities of Rp42.71 trillion and equity of Rp25.08 trillion.
