PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA) posted a profit for the period attributable to owners of the parent entity during the first semester of 2021, which fell by 69.19% to Rp40.153 billion from Rp130.345 billion in the same period last year.

Meanwhile, operating income only grew by 2.2% to Rp3.7 trillion from Rp3.8 trillion.

"There are two main factors that quite affect Elnusa's financial performance until the first semester of 2021, the Covid-19 pandemic and the withdrawal of several work projects by contractor partnership contract.
